Quick answer
Use this page for corrections, accessibility barriers, and editorial feedback. For medical questions, speak to your prescriber or NHS services.
What we can help with
SlimBee welcomes messages about factual errors, broken links, unclear wording, accessibility barriers, and suggestions for topics that would help UK readers navigate weight-management information responsibly. We especially appreciate specific pointers: the page URL, the sentence or table cell that looks wrong, and a link to an official source that supports the correction. Screenshots can help when the issue is visual layout.
What we cannot do
SlimBee cannot interpret your symptoms, review your medical records, recommend doses, tell you to start or stop a medicine, or speed up complaints against a private provider. We cannot intervene in billing disputes, refund negotiations, or prescribing disagreements. For those issues, follow the provider’s complaints process, escalate to regulators where appropriate, and speak with a clinician who is responsible for your care.
Accessibility
If you use assistive technology and something is difficult to operate, tell us which page, which browser, and which tool you use. If you can, include a short description of what you expected versus what happened. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA for new templates and to fix regressions promptly when we can reproduce them.
Corrections workflow
Editorial corrections are triaged by the SlimBee maintainers. We may ask follow-up questions if a claim hinges on interpretation of guidance. If a correction is accepted, we update the page and, where relevant, note the change in a visible corrections line or changelog section. We do not promise instant turnaround, but we do treat YMYL accuracy as a priority.
Security reporting
If you discover a security vulnerability, email a concise description with reproduction steps. Do not publicly disclose issues until we have had reasonable time to investigate. Please avoid destructive testing. We appreciate responsible disclosure in line with common industry norms.
Commercial contact
SlimBee is editorially independent. Unsolicited sales messages are unlikely to receive a reply. If you represent a regulated UK pharmacy and believe a factual statement about your model is wrong, send evidence and we will review it like any other correction request.
Response times
We are a small team. During busy periods, replies may take longer. Automated receipts may be added in future. If your matter is urgent and medical, use NHS pathways rather than waiting on email.
What to include in a correction request
Paste the full page address, quote the exact sentence you believe is wrong, and link to an official page that supports your proposed wording when possible. If the issue is a price, include a dated screenshot of the checkout page you used and the provider name, understanding that SlimBee cannot adjudicate contractual disputes. If the issue is medical nuance, point to NHS, NICE, or MHRA wording rather than forum posts.
Harassment and abuse
We will not respond to abusive messages, threats, or demands framed as ultimatums. We may block senders who spam, phish, or attempt social engineering. Legitimate criticism is welcome when it is specific and good-faith.
Press and researchers
Press enquiries should clearly identify the publication and deadline. Researchers seeking data about SlimBee audiences should expect a high bar for ethics review and minimal disclosure because we do not run a logged-in community with exportable datasets.
Language and tone
SlimBee publishes in British English and aims for respectful, non-stigmatising language about weight and health. If you notice wording that could unintentionally shame readers, tell us why it lands poorly and suggest a clearer alternative. We cannot promise every suggestion will be adopted, but we do take tone seriously because stigma harms help-seeking.
Record-keeping for serious complaints
If you believe SlimBee has published something that could cause harm, include enough detail for us to reproduce the concern and assess risk quickly. Where appropriate, we may keep a minimal internal record of how we responded, separate from public-facing correction notes, to demonstrate reasonable care if questions arise later.
Editorial independence
SlimBee is an independent UK information site. We are not a pharmacy, clinic, prescriber or regulator. Nothing here replaces personalised medical advice, emergency care, or your prescriber's instructions.
